We have all been around people that are negative and always see themselves as victims. People that blame the way that they grew up, their parents, children, relationships, teachers, society, the system, "the man"…
We have a choice. We can make a choice to see things in a positive light. And when you catch yourself having negative emotions, thoughts and feelings, just stop. Take a moment and breath. And as you exhale, let go of all tension and release the negative energy. Negative energy is bad for your health.
It is a choice. You can choose to let yourself get out of control and get consumed in the negative energy. Or you can choose to stop the negative thinking and choose a better feeling thoughts.
Whenever you have difficulty in thinking of positive in your life or anything at all, take the time to list the things in your life that you are thankful for. List them one by one and you will find that you have much to be positive for, rather than dwelling on what you cannot do or what you do not want.
Positive feelings increase health, happiness and strength. Being positive helps you to look at the world in a different light. Positive people like to be around other positive people, helping you to attract what you really want in your life, positive events.
Being positive helps you to see the good side of things. It’s not about if the glass is half full rather than half empty. We should be thankful that we have a glass. All events whether favorable or not, have a positive side to them and therefore are easier to deal with.
